Please check me website and let me know what you all think. It's got some bizarre CSS layering with PNGs, so it'll probly look rubbish in older versions of IE. But hey, I'll run a low-tech version of it for IE6-ers.
Would you all tell me what you think (no links work so far), and whether or not it displays well for you. Also, try resizing and scrolling the window - do u like the kinda 'paralax' effect I've got going on? And does it lag your browser to scroll?
Some thoughts on things like Opera, and maybe Mac browsers would be nice
As the design goes it's ok, pretty basic. Looks fine in Firefox, IE7 and Safari.
Code-wise; you're not meant to put block level elements inside inline elements, you are using spans for wraps instead of Divs, that's why you're getting those validation errors. Also you have tables, yuck.
As for PNG support in IE6, you can do it, there is a css filter for IE that makes alpha transparancy work.
Anyway it's not technically well programmed but it looks kinda cool!
I didn't see any sort of paralax. When I resized and scrolled. I also couldn't scroll left/right. On the whole, though, it looks rather bland and empty. No lorem ipsum text, either? How are you supposed to test paragraphs and such without it?
