I am looking for a team who would like to create the next Online Multiplayer Sensation. I have been playing an online game called Gunz and would love to replicate this game in MMF2. For this to be successful i need to create a team consisting of the following. GFX Artist, Music/SFX and Coders.

The game itself will be a 2D (or isometric - depending on the limitations of each) take on this fantastic game and will include most of the modes that make the original game what it is.

Let me know if you're interested as i have dozens of ideas on what to include with absolutely no idea how to create a working online game.

Thanks

So... you're asking for underlings without any effort being put into being a team leader?

It's hard to find people that will help you realize your vision when no one shares that vision. You will be much better off trying to learn the skills yourself so that you can become a more competent game maker.

I don't think you should try to do supergames. It seems you havn't done any projects, which would show your skills. Also you have to lighten all about what kind of game, 2d or iso isn't just enough. More will be needed, or you won't never get good/any team.

Ok so "the next Online Multiplayer Sensation" was a bit OTT. Basically the way Gunz works is this:
You create a character starting at lvl 0
You can take part in different games in "rooms" inside various channels.
As you take part in these games you acquire money and experience which you can use to purchase and equip bigger and better weapons
The games main modes are team deathmatch, deathmatch and quest.
Each character can hol upto 2 ranged weapons (i.e Pistols, Machine Guns, Bazooka's etc.) and 1 melee weapon (i.e. Swords, daggers)
Each Kill gives you experience points and allows you to level up which gives you access to exclusive weapons.

The cool thing about this game is that it combines firefight with swordplay almost seamlessly.

For more information on the actual game see www.ijji.com

@Neo Monkey - Granted i have no Projects which showcase my abilities as i am too self conscious of my graphic abilities and as such tend not to release anything i make as i fear ridicule and humiliation. Yes i am pathetic but so what.

I have created numerous applications for work and other companies which have made their lives easier.

Hope this has helped to answer some of the questions that have been posed.

I always wanted to make a game like this maybe not like gunz but something similar, like a mediavel game with swords and bows or a ww2 game. but i have no idea how to do the online part, and have not found any tutorials about this part.

the game would be in 2d side scrolling, and look like this!
