Let's talk about what you would like to be coded into TDC

I would like a little side bar on pages that shows the last like 3 or 5 comment and what they commented on.

Also what would be really cool is a little chat sidebar so you could chat with people on other pages. Like a shoutbox but live I guess.

Also I think we should have a smily compo where people make there own versions of smilys that are on the top, and we can vote on the best set, which would replace the ones on top that we have now.

I had some more but I forgot so they can't be that important. BTW please don't say one of my ideas is stupid becuase I have absolutly no idea how hard it would be to code any of these things, or if it's even possible.

I agree with you except for the smileys; they are part of TDC, and new ones would kinda kill it, especially if they get all horrible and "Web 2.0" shiny and whatnot.

If there were a smiley compo, I would submit the one in my signature.

Also, there should be a preview button so that you can preview posts, downloads, and projects before you actually submit them.

Also, I think that we should be able to post polling threads, like a regular thread with a poll in it for people to answer.

I would appriciate if screenshots in the project sessions' devlogs where viewed in the same image viewer as screenshots of submissions.

It would be nice if a bot took care of issues like the gotw too.

Well, then every GOTW would get its own post, and that may be a bit overwhelming, especially when the GOTW winner doesn't deserve it. (I'm poking fun, Zezard, in case you didn't notice. All in good-humored jest.)

Ah, yeah you have a point there.
BUT! Not if it is a really clerverer bot

OK, I accept the current way that the gotw is used and admit that everything that can be voted on and thus is voted on does deserve to become a gotw winner

Preview added to main forums, I'll add to submissions and project forums when I get a spare moment or two (Also, I'm aware Vitalize doesn't work with previews yet, I'll fix this when I can)

An "add to favourites" on downloads so your favourites show in your profile and other people can view them would be a nice feature.

I would like it if maybe we could get a feature that allows you to hide your post or part of a post, like a spoiler alert thing.

Also, maybe a mature content feature like that below:
Image
Image
And a page that appears when you click a link to mature content that says "The following submission contains mature content. You continue beyond this point at your own risk. Click here to continue, otherwise you will be automatically redirected to the home page in 5 seconds."

Also, a link tag in the toolbox, because I dont know what I'm supposed to type to embed links in text.

I'm not sure what kind of content anyone would need to include that is mature. Are we talking about nudity? Excessive bad language? Rape? Are any of these things really necessary in a klik game?? Violence will always play a part in gaming, but the other things i have mentioned really don't, all they do is alienate people and/or cause offence

Me either, this should be a kid friendly place, considering how many teens and even younger people sometimes are here.

I think the active section should be better, less broad anyways. I would REALLY like it if it showed exactly what project or download the member was looking at instead of saying "project" or "download".

While it would be cool to see if people are on your download or project pages, I think that may intrude into people's privacy a bit much. Especially if mature content shows up.
