I've noticed a few projects appearing at the top of the list recently, yet they have no updates? If you edit a devlog, it takes the projects to the top of the list, which I think should be stopped to be honest. I don't know whether or not people do it on purpose, or if there's genuinely areas they had to edit/correct, but I think it should be fixed so that editing has no effect on the project's position in the list.

Methinks it should stay. Usually I have something I forgot to say if I edit it, and it seems pointless to add a devlog, so I want people to see it. If people are being naughticums, and not adding anything, then just warn 'em. That's why the feature is there, so that people will see updates. Why does it bother you?

Well I know what Adam's talking about. There have been several times when I'd have a project page and wanted to change the wording on something but didn't, because I knew it would bump my project to the top for no reason.

Making an actual update is worthy of getting bumped. But correcting the spelling of a word or changing how a paragraph is phrased shouldn't bump the whole page. I'm not sure how they would fix that though, because like you said Clayton, sometimes people want to update their main text or add something new without posting a separate devlog.

Maybe a button for updates and a separate button for corrections?

Yeah it is quite annoying when you make a sizable update then you get pushed half way down the page in the same day because people decided to correct their spellings.

Perhaps you didn't understand me. There's a difference between an update and correcting a spelling mistake, or "correcting a spelling mistake" AKA purposely bumping.

It just annoys me when I click on a project and there's no update.

I know there is a difference, I said that I just think the good part of it outweighs the bad. I too was thinking of two separate buttons...
