Well you know the first Sonic The Hedgehog game and in the Marble Zone they have those platforms tha swing on chains.

Well.. i'm trying to do something like that with my game but i just can't figure out how.

I have a Long Chain active

and a Platform Active.

I had it always have the platform positioned at the base of the chain, the the chain would swing from left to right, but at the moment it just spins by using the Angle Events.

Problem is that the platforms doesn't even stay at the base of the chain when it is spinning, what am i doing wrong?

Make sure the hot spot is at the end of the chain.

It doesn't work because hot spots don't move with the angular settings. Try using the Sticky object. Personally, I use that for everything. Works like a charm.

Are you using mmf2? Just have your chain object with a hot spot and one end action point at the other end. Then always set the platform's position to the action point. The chain pivots around the hot spot and the action point is where the platform will be.
