Does anyone have this great Klik & Play game? I was thinking about it, forcing the forgotten name to spring to memory, but I can't find it anywhere.

This was one of the few KNP games that I would occasionally replay. Now, years later, I want to play it again.

Come on. Who has it? Upload it. +

Send me feedback on my latest game, It Never Ends.

Hi,

this might be your lucky day, 'cause I'm pretty sure that I have the KNP game Mortuum on a disc. I'll search for it when I'm back home.

Cheers,

Arjan

did this ever get anywhere because goddamn this game was a lot of fun

I know I have this on a disk so once I find an A drive I'll dig through my stack of unlabeled disks and find it

EDIT: I'll elaborate a bit on the story, basically it was a top-down arcade game where you were a huge skeleton dude with a sword (or a mace or an axe) and you were trying to escape your extra-dimensional prison. You did this by killing the townsfolk who tried to drive you back into hell and stealing their souls, which you could use to power your spells or escape to the next level. By itself, it sounds pretty mundane, but the weapons physics were something to behold, considering the format. It was inhumanly gratifying running all the way across the stage to build up steam so you could hit some stupid guard with your emerald mace so hard he flew into a wall and exploded in clouds of blood, or beheading five guys in a row to get the spell power to belch fire on anyone who looked at you funny.

EDIT 2: this was a worthless gravedig so let me contribute the file since I found it and it was never posted

http://files.filefront.com/Mortuumzip/;9782424;/fileinfo.html

protip: when your soul power runneth over, if you wait for a few seconds your strength will increase, taking it back down to zero. Make sure you bulk up a bit before going past level six, or you'll get whooped.

Never heard of it here too! Quite impressed by that, probably one of the best KnP arena games I've played!

Is there an interest here in digging up more ancient klik games?

I have copies of some classics by Hematoma Productions, Virtually Real, and the like.

I'd be curious what else is on that old disk of yours, Helsbecter. Maybe the Dark Power games, or that 2 player Mario game with the tequila midi? My apologies for getting nostalgic. I think it was your site, Chris.

The most memorable KnP game fer me was some scrolling example tank game. I think it had an orange level or something. Anyways it was pretty impressive! I thought!

Years ago I bought a box from GAME/Electronics Botique entitled "Arcade Games For Windows" It boasted "over 100 classic games!". Most of them were pretty bad BUT! There were a fair amount of click games on there that I could still find entertaining even to this day
