Hi everybody!
(Hi Dr.E_E!)
Since AndyUK has stopped working on the giant click poster I've decided to, with your help, make another one! Yay!

So we'll do as before with the exception of a few new rules.

Klik-poster REWLS:

1.You must submit a still image (a single frame) of an actual sprite used in any of your own games/applications. The game/application doesn't have to be released though sprites from released games are preferred. This means no BG's only actives with some significance. Persons, robots, creatures etc. are preferred. Cans, power-ups, bananas etc are not, though, if the banana has a significant role in your game/application it is.

2.The sprites have to somewhat follow some of the usual grid-sizes, these are 16x16, 16x24, 24x24, 24x32, 32x32, 32x48, 32x64, 64x64, 96x96. Note that the sprites don't have to match the grid pixel-perfect, they are supposed to "fit" in the above mentioned grid-sizes. To clarify, a rpg sprite usually fits very neatly tucked in a 24x32 sized cell, but a giant, slender banana in a 96x96 sized cell would not fit as neatly and tucked. Only a fat banana would.

3.When submitting multiple sprites, either submit them one by one, or submit a sprite sheet with a clear grid. When submitting sprites one by one the cell borders must be clear too.

4.With each sprite you submit you must state the resolution it was made for. Example: Most games tend to have sprites near 32x32 with a resolution of 320x240. You must state this for resizing issues.

5.I choose which sprites gets to go in the poster, you don't. However, if yous alls hill-billys bully me enough, I may reconsider using a sprite I feel doesn't fit.

I guess that's all.

OK I'll go first!
Image

1st up LP from Lil' pirate. Which isn't actually out yet but i'm fairly sure i'll finish it one day. (The sprite itself is only 20x20 but the picture is 24x24

Image

Secondly Tops the pig. He is in a 24x32 box. Slightly recoloured for his appearance in my new game. He wasn't really designed with size in mind.

Image

Thirdly Buzz the squirrel. He is also recoloured for his appearance in my new game. He wasn't really designed with a grid size in mind either.

Good luck with the new poster!

There is no physical border, but it should be pretty obvious. Just ignore my submission if its not

Image

You can ignore the two last lines of sprites if you don't want powerups.
I would have made it dead-on your specifications, but then I would have had to make a new sheet

One or two main character sprites from each user should be enough I think

Yeah, I won't be using all sprites people submit. It'll depend on how many games they are from and if those games are well known or not etc..

Altough I would like AndyUK and WillyC to state the resolution their sprites were made for.

Thanks guys! Keep em coming!

All of my games are 320x240. Although the the tops the pig games might have been 320x200.

You'll get this a lot mate. People don't like reading the top post more than once, and in time they'll forget the rules.

I don't understand why the intended resolution is a requirement? I'm not being picky, I'm just curious.

Edit: Hold up, it seems pretty obvious now.
