What is your favourite game of all time, made back in the days of the Genesis and the Super Nintendo?
Mine would have to be Sonic 3 & Knuckles or Yoshi's Island

I never really liked any of the games back then (which is what brought me into making games). We used to play Street Fighter, but everyone knows SF is unfair.

I'm not sure in which order...
Sonic 2 (mega drive)
Streets Of Rage II (mega drive)
Gran Turismo 2 (psone)
Zelda: OoT (n64)
Halo 2 (xbox)
I don't really have one game in particular, though I probably spent the most time playing Sonic 2, Zelda and FF7 - because you couldn't save game in Sonic, and the others where really big games Though I did also seem to play Gran Turismo 2 for like 2.5 years solid...
DooM, DooM II, Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Leisure Suit Larry 1,6 and 7, Daggerfall, Betrayal At Krondor, One Must Fall 2097, 4D Boxing, Red Baron, Dreamweb.
All of them DOS, I never had my own console.

Monkey Island 1,2 and 3.

Too tough to call.
I'll just say Super Mario Bros. I liked SMB3 more back in the day but I've been playing through SMB1 again and yea. It's just pure classic.
Top list would be SMB1 and 3, Sonic 2 (Mega drive), Lemmings, Turrican 2, Worms, Doom 1, Flashback, R-Type 1 and 2, Deluxe Paint 3

Axelay, Contra - Some of the best design and direction in a game I've ever seen, even now.
Actraiser, Flashback - honestly there aren't many games that have drawn me in like these.
Mario Paint - because it was the only creative app I had at the time!

Heartlight for the PC, It was the first game we had on a PC and my whole family were hooked on it. Even my parents fought to play it.

Super Mario Allstars. The one that had Super Mario World on it.
Link To The Past was also incredible. And Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.
