I've drawn some 24-bit bitmaps and I need to convert them to 16-bit for another program to work.

How do I do this?

Use save as in mspaint? I dunno, I'm not at a computer but that's what seems logical.

Problem: MS Paint does not save 16-bit bitmaps, 8-bit or 24-bit fine though.

Are the bitmaps of actual BMP format? You might be able to convert them with something like Irfanview (www.irfanview.com , also supports batch converting for converting all images at once).

My question has been answered elsewhere.

For those of you who care, here's the nicest little graphic converter in town.
