I have final fantasy adventure and it's called Adventure. But it was second hand so it must be a US cart.

Del Duo: It's japanese name was Seiken Densetsu (Legend of the Holy Sword)

Secret of Mana was Seiken Densetsu 2, and Seiken Densetsu 3 was never released in Europe or USA

There's also a Seiken Densetsu 4

Ps2 only, it seems.

Called Dawn Of Mana.

I think Metroid 2 is one of those games that has a custom palette built in to the GBC. I know the Super Game Boy had custom palettes for old B&W nintendo games. It's been so long that I can't remember if it was true for the GBC too.

I had all those GB Megaman games; kind of a shame they cancelled the collection pack for the GBA. They apparently lost the source to a bunch of the old games or something.

"Final Fantasy Adventure (the 1st one from like 1990) is pretty good. I hear it's supposed to really be a Secret of Mana game but who knows??"

Kind of, but it also has some Final Fantasy influences. I like to think of the game as part of both.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest was the name of the US and Europe SNES game.
Mystic Quest (no FF in front of it) was the name of the Gameboy game in Europe, and it was something like "Final Fantasy Adventure" in the US.

The Final Fantasy Adventure game I'm thinking of had it so that your weapons acted as tools too. For example, your axes could chop down trees so you could go to other places.

Joe.'s right, I couldn't think of the fancy Japanese name at the time though

The original Tetris is awesome. I also have the color Tetris DX but it's annoying to sit through that awful unskippable cutscene after every time you lose. Is it a bottle? Is it a rocket? Is it fireworks? IS IT OVER YET??? Other than that, Tetris is probably one of the world's best games ever.

Shab- The palette you speak of I think is 4 colors and they did this because there was some hardware that could attach to the SNES that let you play Gameboy games in "color". Super Gameboy, I believe it was called. On a related note, I own a Gameboy Player that attaches to the bottom of my Gamecube and probably use that thing more than the Cube itself. Very awesome, IMO, playing Advance Wars, Bubble Bobble, or Aria of Sorrow on the big TV sometimes. The clarity suffers a bit from playing it on the little SP screen though.

Right, it arrived! Perfect condition and all that, but it's missing the battery cover! So it's back to the ol' cellotape for me.

Pokemon Yellow is hot. The intro is really naff and I'm carrying on the previous owners save, a girl called Millie with a Pikachu called Princess... oh dear. But it's ace and classic and that.
Metroid 2 is inspirational. Easier than the first game, music's a little more jollier. Wish I had this back when I was a kid!

Just waiting on Joe's games and Link DX

pokemon yellow + Pokemon stadium 2 is fun.

Teach pikachu surf and stick it on pokemon stadium 2.

Not only does it talk on there, but it'll grab a surfboard and start surfing if you use surf.

If you want to go mad you should look up Shadowgate DX.

shiver

It's a port of the NES game, and a game where I think I became stumped on almost every single room for a long time. I hear it's great, if you're Einstein and can finish it.

I never got into Pokemon too much, it must be my extreme age, but I can see the appeal.
