Built in SmartBlur for Multimedia Fusion

-Uses no special extensions
-Can be copy-pasted into any game
-Causes hardly any slowdown

I don't wanna release the open source just yet though.
But if anyone really wants it they can contact me.

No extensions? That's quite impressive. I don't know if I'd use it in a game or anything, but I'd love to see the source, just to see how you did it.

Quick guess of the source:
Uses some method of copying the displayed part into an Active Object.
Give the object semi transparency.
Fastloop:
Rotate or Scale the active object and paste it.

close... but no cigar.
The screenshots show basic use,
I've made some pretty crazy flashbang/concussion
effects using the engine.

Hows about posting a compiled .exe so we can see it in action?

Thats the Mode7 extension "Racingline" with SmartBlur.
Because its most effective with 3d apps.

Definately "I can't see what's happening!" blurring. Will work good for some effects, but not a lot.

I like the bumping and jumping in that exe

Hehe, perhaps a 007 game would be nice to go with this?

(screen goes blurred and 'bleeds-in' red etc)

I just wanted to show wat it can do. If i made it subtle everyone would complain that they couldnt see it. The flashbang effects are cool but this engine is mainly suited to racing games.
