BTW those foreigners - this actually is a real political party in the UK ... lol. At least it was, I think the guy that runs it now might have given up now.
I'm sure at one point a dog was in charge of them, or some form of animal, after the main guy deaded.
Oh, it was a cat
"...The running of the OMRLP fell to Alan "Howling Laud" Hope and his late cat, Cat Mandu (killed 2002), who were the joint winners of the 1999 membership ballot for the replacement for Sutch..."

Catmandu?
And people were thinking that the Paedophile party in the Netherlands were weird... Man, OMRLP sounds so much better.
Well I was wrong in many respects with my predictions. Rochdale became a Lib Dem constituency, but overall they did poorly. Labour didn't crash and burn, and Tories made only slight inroads. So overall, a pretty boring election (not much changed, apart from in my area).
until someone wins an election by a single vote, i'm not going to bother voting. people always tend to say "but what if everyone thought like that?" but the simple fact is that my voting / not voting has absolutely no effect on whether anyone else votes.
also, i'm all for letting anyone come into the country to work (with the exception of axe-murderers and such), in the hope that someday i'll get to go live and work where i want. at the moment it sucks because its so hard to get any kind of long term visa for any of the countries i want to go to.
WTF you flid. All my mates don't vote because they say the exact same friggin thing. Well guess what - your vote DOES count. Every vote against Labour is a vote against what they did to Iraq, to the state they got hospitals into. Or whatever they did to your local council. Every vote against Conservative is a message telling them to get their party in order, or every vote against the Lib Dems is telling them to simply be better.
it's a nice idea, but again, i find it really hard to believe any politicians are thinking "if just one more person had voted against us i'd have totally changed our policies, but obviously everythings fine because they didn't".
But the fact that your point of view is shared by many others makes it thousands of votes not being cast... Not that I can vote, especially in the UK...
I think this is kinda what James was getting at, I could very well be mistaken and full of crap.
