When do you think/plan to stop making games?
Myself i feel like its time to move on to something else, that ive done this for too long and that im not getting anywhere. So im gonna complete the one project im now working on and then leave kliking forever (and probably this community as well).
I've been kliking since the beginning, too (1997, so not really the beginning). But I won't stop. It fuels me, as do souls.
P.S. If you were kliking since KNP began, then you would be five when it was released.

And ive never got banned, its just that i left and returned many times and every time i made a new account. So ive had around 6 accounts here since the beginning. (plus Ketchup Kamel

lol sorry but ive kinda left msn too
i wont be on much
and yeah its a crappy course, the teachers kinda boring and were learning some 30-year old programming-language that is rarely used but its still fun
I learned pascal at college. The lecturer claimed it to be a good language to learn the basic programming methods so other languages would be easier to learn.
Then we looked at forth. and made a copy of forth using C. Yes, we had to write a language using another one. How the hell did i pass that course?
Also clicking is great fun, ive lost the will to click right now, and sadly for a hell of a long time. But i'll never actually quit.
So if i ever do stop, it'l be a slow and painfull death, and i'll probably still visit here because it's been a part of my routine for about 5 years now.
It's a bit of a weird question, "when will you stop clicking?". A week on Tuesday. I don't know. I don't plan to stop making games at all, but the sudden need to get a real life is holding me back at the moment.
My MMF2 demo ran up and click-team hasn't sent me my dicount code(or whatever magic saves me munnees). I went to the right page and submitted my serial number from 1.5 It's been a few days, is there anyway to speed up the process? Can I call them up or something, or should I just wait for them to get back to me? Is it normal for them to take a few days? Isn't it automated?
edit: I just realized i hijacked the thread. I meant to reply with 'I'll stop klikin when them demo runs up', then I quickly realized that was true.
Ask this at the Clickteam forums - http://www.clickteam.com/center/. There is a specific email address for asking about discount codes, but I can't remember what it is.
I'll stop kliking when something better than MMF is released, most likely by Microsoft for one of it's user-friendly monopolize everything techniques. I'd say I have some loyalty to Clickteam, but a lot of that loyalty's waned seeing how many bugs they put in klik products that they refuse to fix without making us pay for the fix .
Or maybe once I find a method of making fun games with less effort, like if I got into a professional game making team which would let me focus on one thing at a time.
But personally, I don't really mind being a 50-year old kliker. After all, Silky was pretty old when she started the community. Unless I get some irrational wife who'll force me to "stop making stupid games and go to bed".
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
Like Phizzy said, it's not sometime i'd plan to do. If I suddenly didn't have enough time for clicking i'd stop. Otherwise it's somthing to do isn't it?
Rikus only kinda founded the entire site.. so if he leave's....... uh oh.
Could hand it to someone else at some stage I guess, buuuut - not worth the risk, right Rikus?
Yeah I don't plan to stop kliking for a while. Maybe release some mega game and see how it goes from there *he hopes*, though I don't intend to stop, just participate less perhaps
Wellll I'am only about to just start (I have the TGF demoversion but I will soon get a better one AND I don't have a cleu of how to use it but I will stick to here and learn lol!)
I will never stop clicking untill I am fully capable of creating full seeling games in C++. But i would always be back here to see the next 3 genorations Now Thats wierd to think about....
It's not that I gonna stop, it's more seems that you'll have to stop me by leaving one after another...
Ok, ok... Only when my main unit process will overburn or something and they could not recover me up with any mechanical surgury or defect my eyelead or any main cycle... Speaking if I am a CD-ROM unit for real.
If messaiah isn't come to stop this, Niether Israel will bankrupt their people totally, Then my wet dream, is to see myself as the last and only in this scene... =
