I work in GAME and assuming you have your receipt you can swap it without any problems. Game still trade in any console as part payment of any other consoles.
To the people who think Gamestation is cheaper: MEH! Gamestation seem cheaper as they offer better Trade-In value against the stuff in their shop. If you are looking for things like PS1 games then you would be better off going to game as my local Gamestation are selling Final Fantasy 7 for £25 whereas in GAME we sell it for 1.99.
There are pro's and cons for both stores but i will never shop in Gamestation even when i stop working at GAME.
£25! Christ alive! My girlfriend picked up a scratch free, no damage perfect Final Fantasy 7 for £9.99 at Hanley's GameStation. GAME didn't have it. Manchester, Huddersfield, Ashton and Oldham GAMEs don't stock PS1 games. Which town are we talking about, if PS1 games are that price I really should pop down someday.
For £110 in GameStation you can buy a DS Lite and *any* game. Or for £110 you could get 2 second hand games, a carry case and an extra stylus.
For £110 in GAME you can buy a DS Lite and chose 1 game from a selection of shit games.
Second games are £5-10 cheaper at GS. They actually have console returns even if you're not happy with it, full refund. brand new console games are £5-10 cheaper. they have the "99p for 2" retro game bin. GS actually respect the top selling console of recent times by giving it more shelf space, GAME for some reason giving as little shelf space to the DS and GBA as possible, oh and don't even try looking for Cube games - they've all been removed from most stores I visit. I remember returning Metroid and the girl said "meat-roid?...".
Toys R us actually have some cracking deals on games. I got Mercury for the psp for £14 when it was still £30 in Game etc They also had Tony Hawks for cheap, but I really didn't want that game

DS Lite sucks!
It's just a scam to by a junky DS that falls apart.
Also, why did Nintendo think of these ideas for the orginal DS in the first place? HMMM?
