I asked this from MIG, but his (her?) answer wasn't as good as I needed.
I wanted to make smaller resolution than Display properties object can do, like in MIGs games or in Lyle In The Cube Sector (= Bestes metroid copy ( ) everr!). He said to put these things from game properties:
Window:
-set Resize display to fill current window size on
-set Change Resolution Mode on
And then from
Run-Time:
-set Use DirectX on
It works, but, but, the pixels have different sizes and the game looks horrible!
When i watched MIGs games again i saw that he has the same problem: His games pixels have different sizes!! I gave up, but then i saw LITCS(Lyle In The Cube Sector)!
It has its pixel rightly, but i know it is resized.
So, I tried every combination of MIGs advices, but it still dont work.
Could you help? (Sorry, many line breaks.)
No sig for you.

What size is the playarea? If it is not proportional to the screen resolution the pixels will be stretched and/or get different sizes.

For pixels to be the same size, the window has to have the correct ratio of 4:3 - for example, 160x120 or 800x600. What size are you resizing to?

If the game is supposed to be 320x240, you could change the resolution to 640x480, set resize display and stuff, and then use the window object to maximize it after the resolution changes.

you're not doing it right if the pixels aren't the correct sizes.
try using the windows object too.

Change the screens to 32x240 and use 640x480, that's probably the best and most compatible way.

mig2 uses MMF anyway which can change the resolution to much lower than 320x240 (i think)

I use it too. bah, if i use display properties to make it 640x480, the screen goes black because Display Properties doesn't sync with V-sync..

If you use MMF, set the resolution to either 640x400 or just 320x200 (you won't need to stretch to fit the correct size anymore then, either). Edited by the Author.

NO. 320x200 is wrong. The right aspect would be 320x240.
You *can* do this, but not for a fullscreen mode--I use another method that's better suited, just using the window control object and re-centering. Edited by the Author.

I know that, but if he wants to use it... appararently 320x240 doesn't work for him.

Right. You know that it won't work, and you suggested it anyway.

You're not using some insane non-4:3 monitor, are you? (One made by Apple, for example.)

if you can play other games that uses 320x240 than surely you can play your own games at that resolution?
