Im in the planning stages of setting up a online gaming site named Sedated. Monthly memberships will be required to play most games. Other games in the free area will obviously be free to play. The games will be completely from the Click Team programs. Meaning they will all come from either Kilk n Play, TGF, MMF or any others that there might be. The games will be available for download or will be vitalized on the site. Of course the creator of the game can determine whether he wants the games to be exclusively for download or exclusively for vitalize. That is where you come in. Im hoping to find programmers that would want to make games that would be exclusively for this site. If you're able to create online games, that would be a big plus. As I said I am still in the planning stages, but I will work up a payment plan. I will post more on that once i have it worked up. Im leaning towards this: the creator of the game will get a certain ammount of money per person playing each day on their game. Each hit will only count once per day, meaning someone can play a game multiple times, you would only get credit as if he played it once. Thats not a finalized plan so dont count on that being the deal. I will need many programmers to be on board for this. If you are interested in this, please post in this forum or send a PM to me. Theres no telling when this business will be up and running. It all depends on how fast the planning goes and how long it takes to acquire things such as licences. My goal is to have it running by the end of the year, but that is an agressive goal. Ill post any new developements here.

Like I said, if your interested, please reply here or send me a PM. If you have any questions, feel free to do the same.

I like the idea however you will need an extremely large bandwidth and v.good server to run a setup like this. i mean you are talking 100s of gigabytes of storage space with a reliable and fast broadband service. Companies like zen offer business broadband and they may well be up for a venture like this you should contact them and see if they can help. PC wise check out http://www.ebuyer.co.uk for building yourself a server tower.

As i said you will need around 500GB storage (to store account details) ur processor power needs to be high (like in the 5 GHz range) Memory, you are looking at a couple of GB easily. Things like graphic and sound dont matter but you will need to purchase the correct version of windows for something like this (eg. windows xp or server 2003).

You dont need to bother with another k.board mouse and monitor cos you can buy a KVM switch. all you do is plug your monitor k.board and mouse into this and then the cables from the switch go into both machines.

I don't mean to sound patronising but this is a BIG idea and i'm just letting oyu know what you have in store.

Sounds good! but do you have the funds to advertise such a venture?
In my opinion when it comes to money changing hands the click community is not your target audience. You will need to get it right out there and treat the games created seriously (if they are good enough of course) for it to work.
I may be interested in making something for this as my big project is almost finished (a Multiplayer Online rpg/shoot em up) i've had alot of experience in making various different types of games in fusion (started with TGF)

I did a quick google for Web Gaming Hosts and found this:

http://www.streamlinenet.co.uk/bu.php

Its a lot of money i know but it seems like the ideal solution

If you dont want to pay so much you can carry on the search by clicking here:

those are nice finds.. sort of. the first one frist of all is european.. im in aamerica. if the server is in europe then thats not gonna work. secondly, id have to deal with money exchange. another thing is, they dont give an amount of disk space thats allowed. is it unlimited? pay per gigabyte?

i was planning on using http://www.iPowerWeb.com

it has a nice plan. a lot of disk space and a good amount of bandwidth usage per month. and remember, im just using this as a startup. id eventually upgrade to a better service. ill probably build the server.
