Phart, I like the new version better. Mainly because it doesn't include those corny explosions And it spins in sort of more interesting way. But! But the label - Keatontech - is totally unreadable. It's just to small... It looks fine on the larger version - but hell, that's not the point. It's an avatar for Shrist's cake, it should be designed small - not made large and than scaled. Did you thought about making a 60x56 render?
heart break kid: No, it only shows when it's in your cashe, clear it to find out why most people don't see it unless they view the direct link first. Also your avatar can not win because you did not make it.
<I?@Mruqe: Yeah, I probablt shoulda designed it small, i might re-do it again today. My 3D software can't change the aspect ratio, and the normal version is 320*240, that's not the same aspect ratio as 60*56.

How's my new avatar?
I went through 3 versions of the same thing.
In this one the sides of the logo were cut on when its at 90 degrees and at 180 degrees.
I tried to fix the problem by animating the size so that it always fit. I think you'll agree that it stinks.
I finally came out with this one, where the whole logo is always scaled down. I'm pretty sure that this one is the best, but if you dissagree, of if you have ideas, please tell me.

What? How are 3D renders like having massive pictures in a signature? How can you even put pictures in a signature? My brain hurts.
If you don't like them 'cause they take long to load, them mine's not a problem, it's only 68kb. I think you don't like it because it's cooler than any of the 2D ones. *Smirk*
Anyway, i'll admit that I'm not the only one with a cool avatar. There are a few other people who have a chance at beating be.
3D renders are not very impressive in avatars - not anymore, anyway Nonetheless your new avatar, Phart, is a huge improvement since the first version. And it does load pretty quick (I have a pretty good connection though). Yet I still think that Johan Hargne's avatar should win this compo. It's closest to the theme of the competition. And it's well designed - even if it does not include any original graphics.
