Well, I think that we can all safely say that the steady flow of extensions has stopped, at least until MMF 2.0 and TGF 2.0 come out. So, it's time to decide what your favorite Extension is so far. Let's also decide what extension we'd most like to see for MMF/TGF 2.0.

Personally I love Mode7 ex, even though i've never really done anything with it, but I love the whole idea of 3D and MMF. I also like The IMAP object, The WebGrab object (or the Supa Supa Download Object), and the Quick Token Object.

I would like to see a good 3D object for MMF 2.0, and I know it's being worked on. 3D game making has always been a "new frontier" for me, to be able to make good 3D games inside of MMF would just be awsome, I think everybody would love it, and MMF may become way more popular. I think a lot of people agree that a good 3D extension is all MMF really needs.

Anyway people, post your oppinions below.

I personally like:
MooClick
Platform Movement Object
SaveGame Object
Blowfish
WebGrab
& String Parser
All of them are really useful, as with alot of other ones, but these stand out the most for what I enjoy doing. As for what I would like to see in MMF 2.0, I think in the end, just having games that have the capability to reach 100FPS will be enough for me. I mean thats the most annoying part about MMF 1 in my oppinion. I can deal with the crashing, you'll learn to get around that, but the frame limit is the most annoying part if you ask me.

The frame limit? The most annoying? o_O
Well. You CAN change the FPS rate at runtime, or in the app properties in TGF2/MMF2.

String Parser
The Moo series
Alpha Channel Object
DMC2 Object
MoveIt
Mode7 - Although I always hated its lagginess.

Let's hope they get the 3D object done in time. I heard something about the work on it had stopped, due to limitedness in the current SDK or something

Yah, work on the Irrlicht Object has stopped and for the foreseeable future it doesn't look like Turboferret will restart it.

My favourite extention, rather obviously, is the Background System Box, followed by ModFusion 3 (waaay better than DMC2).

Hmmm, the bad thing with DMC2 is that it's buggy, doesn't work properly for some people. But it's got a few nice features, like setting wav frequency, and getting all the lengths, frequencies, positions, volume values of mp3:s and wavs and mods. Actually I've never used ModFusion 3. Couldn't get it to work somehow. Meh.

you don't even know how to use them..

I don't use many extensions, but I really love mode7 ex, it's pretty cool if you just keep stuff real simple and snes-ish.

Whatever the case, I hope somebody, i don't care who, make's a 3D Extension.

I also love the alpha channel object, it makes it so easy to change the position, rotation, size, and transparency of any object. A lot of times I use it in place of the Active Object.

Mode 7 ex is either laggy or lo-res, not good at all, but I think it's a stepping stone to better 3D objects.

The usage of Mode 7 Ex I've seen in the Chaos Gate trailer was great.

So yeah, you CAN go for the Super Nintendo feeling if used right.

@Axel: I have made tons of games, however, only three have I ever finished, I just ain't released them on TDC, cause the first 2 ideas(made two years ago) were lame cause of the graphics, and my latest one, just...well, no matter how well you try to re-do breakout, its not something you want to release, plus I've had alot of abandonware...so yes, I have made games lol, and they all use DMC2.

Yep, Text Blitter rocks.

I have no favourites. I just use some more than others, because they are just extensions that are meant to be used more. I'd say my favourite objects would be the active, backdrop and counter.
