Have any of you ever played the movies? If you have you know about the things were there are just a lot of blocks and they flow around like water. coould someone please tell me how to make somthing like that?

You mean like on for example, Ristar, when you are under water the pixels seem to flow? Or in Sonic, alot of the levels, most known would prolly be Angel Island Zone 2 or the Lava Reef Zone 1, where the heat causes things to ripple. If this is what you ment, I'm not sure how to do it, & I'd love to learn how too.

to make it look like the pixels flow you could try using a background system box and make a parrallax effect. and as for the heat disstortion you could do it 3 ways. 1 would be an unbelieviably complex mathmatic equation or second woukd be to use the lense object. the problem with effects ;ike that are they are memmory intesive and will prob ruin your game. and the third would be to actually animate then effect youself.

An enormous lens object would lag like hell. Use the Perspective Object, you nobs. It's good for stuff like that.
