Well I just got MMF and I thought some parallax would go nice on the winning final touches of my game.
Here's the problem, whenever the character starts scrolling the background box pops in front of all the back ground objects but when your stationary it pops to the back. How do I fix this?

I have the fill and border color set to none and the image set to pattern. I really would appriciate some help.

Sorry don't have MMF. Maybe you need to keep it at the back via the events editor?

but couldn't help readin you write "final touches". Does that mean you're nearly finished!!! crikey.

It usually gets messed up if you have a quick backdrop behind it

Well I got that fixed(updated mmf) But the paralax is all jerky. When my character hits the ground it jolts a little. How can I make it smoother? Is it a problem with my CPM?

Don't you use TGF anyways?

It's odd, because the background system objects always worked fine in the trial for me.

Hmm, I've got some problems with parallax backgrounds too. The BSB pastes to the background all the time. I have MMF 1.5 build 119 and I'm sure I haven't got any quick backdrops behind it, and I've also tried rearranging the events, no use. Me cries.

Yeah, BSB pastes itself if it moves away from somewhere that hasn't got a BSB or something similar over it. Try making a background box that's transparent, but covers the entire playfield and doesn't move.
