Okay, so I've been working on making my games compatible with a joypad ('cause that's REALLY the way to play games) using the joypad object. I haven't been having any trouble, per se, except that, a few minutes into play, the screensaver starts up. Apparently joypad input doesn't count as "input" in the eyes of Windows (I'm using 98, for what it's worth.)

Is there a simple way around this? Some easy, behind-the-scenes thing I could do to keep the computer from zoning out like that? Anything?

EDIT - Bah... I misspelled "joypad" in the topic title. Well, you get the idea.

You could use something like ControlX to simulate a key being pressed. Or maybe changing the mouse x and y co-ordinates might work.

yeh, like so that it simulates a harmless keypress (on the keyboard) or a mouse move every time you press a key
