Ok, so last night I had some pretty cool adventures, and seeing as how they were all illegal, I can’t brag to any of my friends about it, so I'm going to post them here.

It started at about 9:30, I was pretty bored and thinking about bed, when I decided to sneak out and walk to my friend’s house. When I got there I found him watching a movie with these two other guys. Anyway we got in his car and decided to go to "****" high school, our school's rival. We were just going to climb on the roofs and generally fuck around. We got there and did just that, but as we were leaving I randomly grabbed a doorknob and it was unlocked. I pulled it open and IT WAS THE FUCKING COMPUTER ROOM!

So I'm standing there, looking at about 30 g4 emacs, and a giant plasma TV, going "holy fuck!"

My friends and I proceed to move all the chairs to the opposite side of the tables, and turn on all the emacs. I know that’s not bad, but it took us about 20mins, so it will be kind of a pain to undo. We also wrote pro Aiea slogans on the white board and a reminder to lock the doors and set the alarm.
Image

After that we went back to our high school, and climbed one of the light towers by the football field:

That’s me, the ladder starts off 15' above the ground, so we tilted a bench on its side and jumped up.

Image

That’s me coming up.

After that, we decided to sneak in to Aloha Stadium, by now it's about 3:00 in the morning.

Image

That is aloha stadium by the way; it was crawling with security guards.

Image

That's me and my friend on the field. I should have taken a better pic, but we were very scared.

Then, after that, we decided to climb to the top of a big water tower that used to be used for irrigation for the sugar mill. This sucker is huge, and taller than the light posts. To get in we had to climb over barbed wire fences and bush bash toward the ladder. When we got there we discovered that the ladder was enclosed in a steel cage. For about 30 feet the cage had double bars, but after that the gaps were wider. We climbed on the outside of the cage, and then squeezed in.

This is from the top of the ladder looking down:

After that it was about 4:30 and we went home. So yeah, that was a pretty cool night.

Joe: yeah my friend loves his bright yellow shoes and was constantly stopping to wipe them clean.

Kirby, I live about 3 miles away in the mountains above Pearl Harbor, who is will Bradley?

Andy: Indeed it was, a golf cart going by every 2 minutes or so. It was so dark you couldn't tell if anyone was looking down onto the field, there are a ton of catwalks and hidden vantage points, all with a perfect view of the field of course, but there are no cameras except at the main entrance, staff entrance, and the corridor to the field.

And a good time was had by all!

You could have done anything you wanted to those computers. Bravo for the lack of total destruction.

Just a friend of mine that lived it that same general area. He's dabbled in game-making, so I figured you might know him if you went to the same high school.

Yeah, we wanted to be high class. We arranged everything prefectly, and today we went back and used all the G4 boxes to make a pyramid, pics coming. I just came back from driving around, there is absolutely nothing left to do...

This is why normal people play computergames or sports when they're bored. It doesn't involve breaking the law (usually).

Next time you do that, you should put a picture of a dancing fat guy on all the computers in full screen.

Not everyone thinks breaking stuff is "cool".

You should install virtual machines running Win XP on all the Macs. They'd thank you for it.

“Here’s what gets me, they didn't lock their doors, set their alarms, but they have passwords on every computer. We tried all the obvious stuff like "admin admin" or "user user", then the school's initials and stuff.

Anyway we totally thought about taking all of their computers, but we decided to be classy instead.

It's actually called hacking or urban spelunking. The name 'hacking' comes from the similarity to rogelike games; exploring places you aren't supposed to be in the dark, looking for cool things to do and avoiding monsters (security).

oh right, didnt know that.

One of the schools i used to go to had computers and their passwords were all 'hello' then they changed it to 'Password'
to be honest the adminitsrator knew less than the students did about computers.

here is an e-mail I got from the Tech Coordinator at RHS

Hello Mark,

Got your message on the board. Could you please give me more info on how the
room was open? Door ajar, unlocked, front, back, noticed anything on... if you looked..
What time did you notice on what day?

Thank you very much for your help and your message. Also, are you a student? or teacher?
just curious.

Thanks
Carol

Just so you know, I signed my name "Mark Arinaga" our vice principal.

It was kind of a crappy response because not once did she mention our awesome pyramid. I mean that pyramid was way cool.
