Hey everbody! Does anyone remember me? lol. its been like half a year since i was last on. In fact, more than that. Maybe a year total? wow, plz 4give me!

Anyways, ive been working on a game with my friend (Con-con, who frequently checks out this site), and ive been making some music for it i need some ratings on. Also, if you can help me with some of the unfinished ones (the ones with '*' next to them)(not the ones with () by them), ill try to mention you in the credits (presuming i remember, lol). Also, it my be 5 minutes or so after i post this before the links work, so hang on a second fellow forum-browsers.

http://www.phil-con.com/ROCKIT.MID
http://www.phil-con.com/TRAINING.MID *Needs a chorus*
http://www.phil-con.com/SHADOWED.MID
http://www.phil-con.com/WANNABE.MID
http://www.phil-con.com/SUNSET.MID *Needs to sound beeter the second time it repeats (Better drums, or scratch the drums and replace them)
http://www.phil-con.com/PIRATE.MID (Lol, Banjo-Kazooie was my inspiration)
http://www.phil-con.com/SUSPENSE.MID *This song probably needs to be scraped from the furnace I burned it in*

All rights reserved! Just kidding (for now, at least), but don't use them without my permission please, otherwise I'll be seriously cheesed off at you, and you will deserve to be spanked quite vigorously.

Go ahead and give me constructive criticism on all of these, and please help me decide on how I need to use all of these. Ones like PIRATE are theme music for characters in case you're wondering, otherwise this would be a very funny game.

EDIT: These are all in Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth whatever (its your default MIDI soundset with Windows XP I think, but if its not your default, it should come with it). Also, Some of these might sound like something you've heard, and i have a habit of writing stuff ive already heard b4, so let me know.

While I'm editing my post, ill go ahead and describe the game for you. Its a overheard 8-way directional movement style game, almost like the style of Legend of Zelda (not like legend of zelda, id NEVER do something like that!). Its occasionally silly, but mostly serious. There we go, that oughta be enough background for you.

The pirate one is cool. Can't really tell where it was inspired by Banjo-Kazooie though.

Most of the MIDs are pretty good - the only thing I'd say is that all the instruments are a bit high, and you could do with some bass instruments to balance them out.

Hmm... The newer version is better. But, the bass is going a bit 'straight'. And it follows the guitar notes too much.

Sorry if I'm too critical

Its a cheap program my older brother got called 'Music Time'. You can drag and drop notes on a staff to create a Midi, but it was apparantly made for Windows 95 and is glitchy to the extent of making life difficult. Example: The end of each note is cut off by one fourth, and it sounds really weird if I let any notes play without another to cover up the gap. It was $20, but I'm pretty sure you could find something better for less without much trouble.

By the way, have you beaten Paper Mario?
