Hi. I'm trying to create a game for a community site (not my site), but i tend to plan my stuff too big so i end up nok completing it. Can you guys help me out with a quick game idea ?
Bloody hell, I'm always amazed that anyone could need ideas. I've got over twenty started games on my to-do list, and another dozen that I haven't even started yet.
I always have like a thousand ideas and also have a 1000 started game files lying around, but even those take too long for me. Maybe I should just learn to be more patient...
Make a short simple arcade shooter, vitalize it, and put it on your site.
The trick is, of course, to code the game in one frame to cut down on both design time and loading times (not to mention size).
I've started one of these, I just keep running into crash errors.
Hmm..well, i think my problem is that i've come to a point where i think MMF is slow compared to programming c or c++, but i don't know how to programming anything but ascii games, so i'm kinda stuck >_<
You could make a game with 3 different buttons with question marks on them, and 2 of them are bad, if you click them you die but if you click the other one you win and goto the next level with 4 buttons!
"That would never work Andy, as you don't have direct control over the ball."
thats the challenge of it, you can direct the ball not entirely but you can aim it depending on where it hits the bat.
and maybe there should be a time limit for each target.
I may make a game where you are trapped in a small room and Ninjas appear out of nowhere, and you must fight them, but you cannot take damage, being hit will only slow you down. The point of the game is to die as fast as you can, and you do this by drowning in your enemy's blood.
