Do the anthro/yiff/hentai artists/drawers get into the Heaven?
This question popped into my mind in school when talking with my friend.

My opinion: "I don't think so! They're going HELL!"

Who knows, who cares? Everyone is going to hell for one reason or another according to the Bible. You ever take the time to realize just how many rules Christians break or choose to ignore, only to crack down on others? People who are selectively rightious piss me off. By and large they are little more than insecure hippocrites.

In direct response to your question, there is no hell to go to.

All Christians are selectively righteous anyway, I don't believe there is a single human being today who follows the bible one hundred percent, it would be impossible in this day and age.

Well since there ARE religions that state you will go to hell if you dont belong to them. And there are quite a few, I guess everyone is going to hell, if it exists that is.

Religous replies and comments start soon, correct?

Well I doubt anyone who's religious can honestly say they have 100% followed their religion. And if they claim to, then they're most likely wrong. Here begins the explicable problems with organised religion.

However, it becomes your business if they get involved with you. In any case, everyone is going to hell because

1) More than one religion states that non-believers will go to hell
2) You cannot follow more than one religion.

If God actually wrote (so to speak) a holy book, why would there be other people writing their own versions of it? There's only one that could be true (if it were), so the rest are fakes.

Just hope you picked the right one. Har har har

Ah, but if God wrote a book, it would technically be unchangeable, since God is God after all... and such a book would be divinely protected.

I've come to the conclusion that God wrote a book, starting a religion, only to have the followers of the religion screw up the contents of the book to their own personal benefit. God probably wrote a couple others after that, each a different religion, believing their version to be the right one but misinterpreting their own book. By now, God's given up on bookwriting and has condemned everyone to hell...

"More than one religion states that non-believers will go to hell"

that isnt strictly true. in a much wider view there is just 1 almighty power, be it allah, god, vishnu or whoever. worshipping one means worshipping all. its all semiotics; you call a dog a dog, but a frenchman calls it 'chien' even though it is exactly the same thing.

"but if God wrote a book"

god didnt write the bible, some other folks did. i dont follow any religion, and i gave up religious studies in high school but i thought it was some 12 people wrote it.

the bible was written by alot of different authors over a few hundered years and then a comittee voted on what stories to include and they tried to pass it off as the word of god.

if it were the word of god it wouldnt be full of contradictions. some is meant to be literally interpreted, some is meant to have hidden meaning and other bits are sposed to be just faith or something, smells like bullshit.

Indeed. It is written with man and has all the flaws of it. Following a religion to the dot is impossible because of this fact.

Hello. First off, I would like to make this clear that I am not trying to make fun of anyone or trying to offend anyone.

Muz "Ah, but if God wrote a book, it would technically be unchangeable, since God is God after all... and such a book would be divinely protected."

It says in the bible that you are not to add a word to the bible or take anything from it. I think that is saying that its changeable and he isn't going to stop you.

Muz "I've come to the conclusion that God wrote a book, starting a religion, only to have the followers of the religion screw up the contents of the book to their own personal benefit. God probably wrote a couple others after that, each a different religion, believing their version to be the right one but misinterpreting their own book. It speaks of the ending times of the earth in the last book of the bible, Revelation. You should read it if you wanted to. I see your point, that people have tried to change it to the way that would fit them best, lol. But not everyone tries to do that.

Kirby Smith "Who knows, who cares? Everyone is going to hell for one reason or another according to the Bible. Yes....I have realized how many people "say" they follow the bible but really just go and brake the rules and choose not to follow them but then point a finger when you do something like that wrong. Some people do try to follow what the bible says and not what they want in these days. I am sure not saying these people have never sinned before, because almost everyone has sinned but I am staying that they do try not to sin.

You don't have to read this part if you don't want to: If you want to know what the bible says about all of this then just grab a bible, lol, and if you don't have one and want to read one then go search one online, lol. If you don't want to read a bible then don't, lol. I am not trying to pressure any of you into anything, lol.

I really hope I didn't offend anyone. I just wanted to state some stuff.

Thanks for reading.

The reason there are different Christian denominations is because people interpret the bible differently (and yes, my grammar was totally correct there).

It is a widely held belief among the more evangelical Christians that you do not actually have to do anything to get into heaven, and that you simply have to believe in God and Jesus. This is plain silly, otherwise the bible wouldn't have so many rules in it.

Actually, Teapot, that's not entirely true. The reason why there are Protestants is because of the Catholic Church's former practice of indulgence, in which people could buy their way to heaven.

Yeah I know, but I was talking about the reason people choose different denominations today. And the only reason protestants are so popular is because some pompous king wanted to unlawfully divorce his wife and various other silly things.

Just to add my comments to the original question, I'll say again - be careful what you say about the "anthro" type of person, because one of the admins might, hypothetically, in theory, be one.

I don't understand people's massive aversion to it - fair enough it's a little strange to people who aren't in to it, but I don't see how it harms others or means that we're going, as you so eloquently put it, "to HELL". Most deviances in this way are a little odd to many, so why single out one?

I was brought up Christian although I don't follow all the laws and morals that I was taught - something that I think is an advantage, as I've learned since then to think for myself about what's right and what isn't.

That turned in to a bit of a ramble, so for a shorter version, see Radix's post further up. His is a style of writing which I could never hope to achieve.

i just wanted to point out that it seems that the majority of religions you all seem to be talking about are Christian denominations. Many religions such as Buddhism and Judaism don't have a hell, and therefore no one, regardless of any sexual preference they might show, will go to hell.

The fact that he mentioned Hell means he was talking about Christianity. If he wanted to discuss it in terms of other religions he would have mentioned so. If he said 'Nirvana' at any point we wouldn't complain that Christianity didn't have a nirvana.
