This game makes its difficulty a key element to its fun. It is a series of tense encounters, but the more you play the more you figure out the tricks to getting through each element. If you get it, it ends up being like one of those movie montages where the character trains and fails and then ends up being able to ace each element to get to the goal.

I'm not sure if everyone will have the patience to go through the same encounter dozens of times, but I know there is a market for this type of game and at least there are checkpoints here and there. The game does a great job of creating its slightly off-beat ominous but playful feel, and the controls are pretty straightforward and intuitive.
