		This is a real time lighting engine I made a year or two ago. It's based on the example by Andos. I spent days crunching numbers and calculations to figure out the best way to draw the shadows in an optimized way, in a scrollable map to boot. It's based around tiles, and reads obstacles from the map array.
 
 
I included the source file in hopes of seeing this effect in some future games. It's pretty well commented, but the math is a bit complex. Maybe someone smarter than me can make it even better.

Not all of them are required for the shadows ofcourse, like the parallaxer, but I'm too lazy to remove them and make this into a pure example.
