Toaster Madness is a timed/platform/puzzler with a simple concept. Launch yourself from the toasters and collect the stars to continue to the next level. Find the shortest path to each level to obtain the fastest time.

Later levels contain projectiles, if these projectiles come in contact with the player a three second penalty is added to the players total time(applied with a movement pause).

Really enjoyed this. Bizzare but ace idea! Graphics wise not nice to look at, the stars constantly changing colours hurt my eyes a bit! Only reason I will take a star off. Cool game tho.

Thanks for the comments. This was thrown together very quickly. I submitted it to get some feedback about the concept/gameplay, which has been great so far.

I have much bigger plans for this, just wanted to make sure it's actually fun to play for others.

Yeah pretty fun although it looks rather rushed.
It's nice that you can't really die. Putting an online high score table for this game would be brilliant.

Good Concept.

Maybe you could make a few spin-offs of this game.

One idea is a platformer, where you play as a toaster that collects bread and shoots toast up into the air.

With some good timing you can make the toast land on enemies and flatten them.

The toaster could roll and shoot toast into the ground to launch itself into the air, (that could be its jump and require bread to activate the jump)

Like I said, it's a pretty wild concept. It gives me alot of funny ideas.

Consider a toaster tank game where you battle breakfast foods ?

What about a beat-em-up super hero toast game, where he starts out as bread, and at certain points in the storyline, he jumps in a toaster and pops out as SuPeR-ToAst !, crimefighting breakfast avenger ? .. and comedy would ensue in the comic book type storyline.

Nice game as it is though.

But, it has potential to be a mascot for a gaming company, sort of like Sonic or Mario.. only it's Bread instead.
