I really liked Ultima 4: Quest of the Avatar and in that one you had to really pay attention to what choices you made while playing (i.e. don't run from enemies or your valor goes down, pay shopkeepers what stuff's worth and your honesty goes up, steal from the townsfolk and your honesty goes down, etc).
Good thing you're keeping a meter on it though. That game didn't really tell you what your virtue levels were.
