Huge update with 2-player gameplay!
Posted 30th Aug 10, by RichhhR 2 Comments

The following bosses are now controllable and exhibit extremely accurate behaviour compared to MM2:

Crashman
Woodman
Heatman
Metalman

As you can see, I didn't meet the April deadline I wrote below. The reason is that my uni bogged me down with a lot of time consuming work which I really would rather not be doing except I'd be out of uni if I didn't do it. So although I wanted to work on the project I sadly could not. Through the summer though I made more improvements though, and you can see it's very close to being demo-ready at least for these first 4 bosses.
Major Update
Posted 6th Feb 10, by RichhhR Post A Comment

Major new features:
* Single frame engine
* "READY"
* Boss doors
* Static destructable Crashman
* Weapons screen
* Quick Wily Castle Screen

The deadline for the finished 2-player offline mode is now the end of April 2010.
10/01/10 Mini Update
Posted 10th Jan 10, by RichhhR 2 Comments

Various small improvements, the game over screen and the beginnings of an options screen can be seen here.

Thought I'd share the little update video here because today's date is so legendary.

I've progressed quite a bit more since this video, so expect another update video in the next month.
So far... (original idea -> improved engine -> 3D tests)

Status: Engine in development

Experiments with fake 3D.

Here you can see menu screens and the Wily ship cutscene. Getting closer to complete.

The new custom platform movement engine. Made from scratch with events only. Made with 100% accuracy as a goal.

The basic idea, before I made a proper accurate engine.
