Hi Daily Click
I was just wondering if SWF Flash files work in MMF 2. Basically I've created a short animation in Flash MX and I'd like to use it as the opening story in my game. Anyone know if its possible to transport it into MMF 2? I've tried saving it as an AVI file but that doesn't seem to work. If I buy this new Flash app will that help? Any advise you guys could offer will be most useful, many thanks!

It won't, though exporting to video and using an extension to display the video does. What the "Flash app" does is export your MMF file to the Flash format, but not vice versa. It also has more limited extension support, so if the video player extension does not exist for the Flash exporter, that's the end of that (not enough knowledge about that myself to know about that).

You could use the ActiveX object to play flash, but that might cause troubles if and when they need to update Flash. Once had a user report a crash in one of my applications because of that.
