Did anyone else play Goof Troop for the SNES? I have so many memories of this game over the years... I remember when I first bought it, I was disappointed because I didn't know what to do ($10 is a lot to a 7 year old! Or at least it was to me), but as I think back, it was probably my favorite of my SNES games once I figured it out. Genius music, it had. We never got the Disney Channel so I've hardly seen the show, but the game adaptation was great! It was also a game I could play with my siblings, which was the central focus of games for me. We played it so much we always had a set pattern of where to go to get what items (and who got them) to reach specific extras and keys and whatnot. It was fun.
I used to play that with my sister. We made it to the last level but got stuck on the boss. She would always have to be max, so i had to be goofy even though he was slower.

Doesn't sound like a bad plan to me!

It is the best bit. Throwing barrels at each other and keeping tally of how many times you had to "get revenge" was hilarious. "My turn to get the red diamond!" "Fine, but I get the harpoon."

My sister was always Max too. Goofy was slower but I preferred him because one hit from a barrel kills a baddie, while Max takes two.
I loved kicking blocks into enemies too. All the little gameplay quirks and fun things like the toe stub animation and enemies flying off the screen were part of the charm.
