Well, we all know that a month has 4 weeks. So in a month there are 4 GOTW. How about making a pool with the 4 GOTW of the actual month, and to vote for GOTM. And we could establish GOTM
Like GOTW used to mean something when people won it, and now its just a common thing, and now if you add 2nd and 3rd place too. I mean, after that they might as well hand out trophies.

You wouldn't get a trophy for second or third place. And besides, GOTW never really was all that special. It's a good idea for those who work hard on a cool game, but it gets overshadowed by a big long-awaited release. I think either it should be that when a big game is released, it automatically gets GOTW (determined by general opinion and admin's discretion), and all the rest go for GOTW next round; or that only in certain cases (also determined by general opinion and admin's discretion) are second and maybe third places awarded.
