They're called "stiles" (sp?) by the way. They're there so animals can't get over and stuff, and also motorbikes can't get through. My mother used to live in South Wales, in fact in a place called St. Mellons which is near Cardiff I believe. ANYWAY I say thats wrong, The blue-ridge mountains have some AWESOME caves- Luray caverns They're nick-named the Show-caves of the world.
