LIKE PUNCHIN STUFF IN THE FACE??? IF SO, THIS IS TOTALLY THE GAME FOR YOU. Punch kick and smash your way to victory in this sidescroller beat em up. its a simple, short story-less game mainly made as an experiment, and a time passer.
the game features a simplistic combo system and a few enemies per level, and a boss at the end of each level. there are only 3 levels, so good luck, and enjoy!

Alright, glad you guys like it! ill start on a second one. theres a few bugs i can fix and i planned to make the combo system a little bit more complex for cooler combos and such

It was pretty fun.
A few issues but I'm sure you're aware of them.

The collisions with the enemies feel off. I'm not sure what to say about this exactly since I can't exactly pin point what the issue is.

The graphics actually look better in game than they do in the screenshots. I'm not sure what you can do about that though.

I like how the levels are cut into sections. It forces the player to beat the enemies in each area before moving on. I haven't seen that mechanic in a while, but it seems well executed here.

Anyway awesome work!

lol yeah the collisions are a little glitchy, i know what i did, and how to fix it, but i didnt feel like it with this version, i figured id just make a second one with a more solid engine. and the screenshot thing may have something to do with the file type of the screenshot. and yeah i was thinking old ninja turtles style with this one

I think you got most of it pretty spot on. For instance being able to jump even in the middle of a combo. Sometimes the best solution to make a sequel is to just have more of the same but better!
The graphics, whilst nice and pleasant could be much better.
Also i'd say making it more obvious how you're going to beat the 1st boss would help a lot. That's an entirely new mechanic just suddenly thrown in without any help.

This was very fun! I would have kept playing but when I died on level 3, it took me back to level 2.

Hopefully that can be fixed!

@AndyUK i didnt spend too much time on the graphics because i mainly wanted this game to be a fun, quick project, the second one will have much better graphics and more backdrops etc. and i agree, i didnt exactly give any sort of hint how to beat him, which i should have.
@Hill Gigas, Thanks for telling me about that! ill fix that, and reupload. try downloading it again later today and that should be fixed. another thing in going to mention because i forgot to take it out... if you press "1" you'll teleport to the boss. though, thats likely going to get removed when i update the download file. thanks for all the good reviews!
