My TDC's Summer Funtition entry.

A somewhat basic platform game where you have to collect stars. You can collect coins to pay for powerups and collect keys to unlock a 10 star bonus at the end of the level.
Baddies can be killed be landing on their heads or hitting them with crates. (Down + CTRL whilst standing on a crate)

Somewhat rushed because I was lazy. A bit of a rush at the start and at the end means I do have something in a somewhat finished state and I also take a few liberties just to make the game run smoother.
60 FPS, Vsync, DirectX 9.

I do however stick to 1 layer ,don't use any extensions that aren't allowed and try to stick to less than 262 active objects in game at any time.

The game does have some parallax scrolling effects which are just really large active objects (but look cool nevertheless)

Version 1.1 bugfixes

.You actually lose your shield now when hit
.Stop all movement when touching the end of level marker
.Added some extra items

Version 1.2 bug fixes

Fixed a collision error stoppoing you getting hurt on almost all levels! Copying and pasting groups causes group activation events to stop working apparently.
Uh some other stuff I can't remember now.
