Hi there! This is a game created originally for iPhone and iPad and released last September, however since then I've been working really hard to polish it. I had posted it on the clickteam forums before, but not here. I'm making use of CT's new exporters to port it to as many platforms as I can. currently there are iOS versions ($1 for the full version, and a free lite version) along with a lite online flash version. The xbox XNA version is coming along nicely, and I hope to start on an android version soon. I hope you enjoy!

MegaCity is a highly original and fun 'one-more-go' style puzzle game. Easy to learn, hard to master gameplay which requires thinking, logic and luck.

Place requested buildings in the queue to earn points, but watch out: Nobody wants to live next to a landfill site or industrial estate! Everybody wants a nice park or shcool nearby, but the city's budget is limited. This is where you come in. Megacity is a game of planning and thinking ahead to squeeze the most points of out your citizens by clever town planning. And if it all goes wrong, it's their fault for electing you mayor, right?

Place building tiles on the grid to play the game; but each tile has a different positive or negative effect on it's surroundings. Once a column has the required number of points, the game advances, giving you more room to build.

Features:

-Dozens of different buildings

-10 unlockable buildings

-Local & online high scores (GameCenter enabled on iOS version)

-Achievements

-George Gershwin Soundtrack

Cool game, love the idea. The only problem is I guess I over-thought the earlier part of the game, stretching it out way too long. A timer might help to hurry things along- it doesn't have to end the game necessarily, but maybe something like, if you take more than 90 seconds on a move, it places a prison randomly, to keep things moving.

I ended up with 19060 points, and tried to submit my score online (there was no "submit" button, instead it just had a "online scores" button- my score was shown in the local list, but I don't think it was submitted to the server).

A minor thing about the little cars (nice touch by the way), I'm guessing you are creating them on-screen and then immediately rotating them, the result being that just as they are created, they are facing the wrong direction (default direction), though they quickly snap to the correct direction. You can avoid this bug by simply creating them offscreen, and then move them on-screen + rotate them (it can be in the same event as the creation, it just has to be a separate action).

Congrats on a fine Flash / phone / multi-platform game, and I hope your sales do well!

Wow MegaCity is very professionally made, I've played a fair few times now, it's a very addictive little puzzle game. The only small criticism I found is the sound effects are a little bland but apart from that I would definitely recommend downloading it. I will be certainly downloading the game on my Xbox once the 360 version is available!

Thanks for the feedback guys I've already started working on a sequel, and I have plenty of ideas for it including multiplayer! I hope to have it ready later this year.

Great job!

It took me a little bit to figure out the gameplay but once I hit the tutorial I was all good.

Speaking of, might not be a bad idea to ask that on first playthrough, to go through the tutorial. Certainly explained the game to me after that!

Amazing job! I bet you are raking in the cash with this puppy.
