[ Story ]
You, the player, is Mario. Average loser, video game fanatic and lady scarecrow. You post on message boards about games you've never played and how amazing your love life is, when suddenly, a new game comes out. Just one of those games that everyone gets. In order to keep your cool, you need it. But ack, you have no money, for you are a loser. In despair you get drunk in the average loser-way and at the bar, you meet this smokin' hot chick who offers you a job. Simple; fix the water leak in her house and you'll be rich enough to buy your game. This is No More Plumbers.

[ Controls ]
Shift / z = Jump, talk
Ctrl / x = Attack

[ Episodes ]
Beat episode 1 to unlock episode 2! You can use your episode 1 save.dat file if you've already gone that far.

Great as always, but a little too difficult

I couldn't get past Kamek...

And even the shooting minigame was a little bit difficult...

It's stated in the first post that it includes both episode 1 and episode 2 - beat ep1 to access ep2.

The final boss was fun, and again, the game showcases the pixel shaders well. However, the movement problems from the first episode were never addressed, and the actual level part of Episode 2 wasn't as fun. I like the spirit of the game though...it's very odd.

Great minigame this time, managed to shoot three hammers at once. Spamming the shoot button is a surefire way to beat that part easily.

The final koopa boss is crazy hard, but if I only kill the rats when I'm on the left of the screen and then jump exactly when koopa speaks, it'll hit him every time.

Tons of fun! Didn't get a chance to review part 1, but playing through it was also a bunch of laughs. Couldn't figure out what the butt stomp was until Ep2, it wasn't too clear, but that might just be me having just woken up.

I love the style, and the intro sequence, with the bar, etc. Great game. 5 stars.

As Huru said, the game has a great spirit, but it isn't nearly as good as anyone says. It isn't clear how to beat kamek, nor what the wrench is for in episode 2. Also, I think you should start making games from scratch instead of fan games. With your programming skills it would be a lot of fun. At least it will bring me more joy than yet another mario game.

I do not agree with vertigo. This is an excellent fan game, but maybe that is because the original was so great. Watch out for No More Heroes 2!!

I agree with Vertigo. The game is technically great, but there isn't any reason why to use ripped graphics and make it a fan game. I'm not even sure if Mario adds much to the humour value... :/

I don't see why everyone's having so much trouble with beating Kamek. I found it to be self-explanatory. Kamek makes things shoot in your direction. Obviously that means that you have to make those projectiles fly into Kamek's direction. Quite easy, quite obvious.

Also, I don't see what's wrong with another Mario fan game. It looks great, it plays great, it's fun... What more do you want?
