I drew EVERTHING in this myself !!

In Blob's Adventure, you are a small thing called "blob"! (duh)

You wander around to find something and suddently a million death traps and an evil skeleton arrives! Why do they want to kill good ol' blob?

Controls
arrows - move
shift - jump

enter - restart the level (after you've got owned)

Explore the levels! (a little tip: everything is prob. going to kill you just by touching it, so be carefull!)

Ah this is pretty nice actually.

Although it's pretty annoying having to repeat levels over and over again to find out all the traps at least each section is pretty short so you can get past it all on 3 or 4 attempts each time.

This reminds me of both I wanna be the guy and my own game Micro mouse adventures. The latter getting some pretty harsh critisism for being unfair.

Indeed games like these are unfair if you expect to play by skill alone. But actually they are more like memory tests and it would be best to recognise that before you start to get frustrated over the constant dying.

hehe I liked this, very funny! Only problem I had was the movement engine caused most of my deaths (as it's sticky) and the collisions; there should be a seperate collision body that is smaller than the 'hero' for this type of game. It was too harsh on the player.

Wanted to rate it higher but ultimately the game becomes quite annoying due to control/collisions being too hard.

Until it just had to get hard, in that place with all the spikes.

What you could do which would be good, Is quickly show the player all of the trap before the level starts.

So the player isn't FORCED to discover everything by playing through each screen 5 times.

Good game dude. The traps were clever and pretty funny at times (especially with that jump thing).
Alas, got past the boss, tried to save the girl and bang, got stuck in a platform. Happened several times before that too. Glitchy floors n that

Whether you say so or not, that floor is almost definitely from FIG.
Either way, it seems like a great game, actually. I managed to avoid the boulder even appearing near the beginning where the boulder chases you. O_o

The floor doesn't tessellate particularly well in this. Look at FIG's Floors. The graphics aren't even tile based in that.
So no, it's not from FIG.

Firstly, theres a "bug" in menu. If you put the mouse in between "new game" and "exit" (or wth), but you press "new game" it will still exit.

+Bug on level after boss, I jumped on a "box" and flew up in the skies. Never came down..

@ Adam: No, I don't. Why?
It made me think 'bout Hempuli, so I mentioned it.

It's an interesting game, the graphics/atmosphere are decent. I also had that problem where you can't start the game without exiting.
I don't see any amusement in letting the player get gameover every second, I just find it extremely frustrating.
You definitely have great potential to do something great, I hope you can make a fun game in the future.
