I'll tell you what, it's a good idea. However, it's incredibly fiddly, the graphics are poor, the gameplay is poor and it's too easy to get stuck and have to start the level again.
The music is creepy, but other than that this game feels quite dull. If you were to improve on the engine and let it flow better it would get a better score from me. however, I found the engine my enemy, rather than my friend.
It's very hard to get used to how the game works. The graphics are pretty bad too.
Ive played worse but this isn't something I would want to play again.
I really enjoyed this game! The main game mechanic of the rope shooting out allows the player a lot of freedom and creativity, particularly on some of the later levels where you're swinging from underneath the platforms from one to the next. I only stopped playing after becoming stuck on one of the levels, but not because I thought the game was boring. The music was well-chosen, also.
I'd LOVE for someone to remake Bionic Commando and use this as part of their engine!
Actually, this is quite good, but I can't score the game I like which in the same features such poor graphical design and also uses music and sound effects from World of Goo without crediting it. Not sure if you are allowed to do that at all, as this is a commercial game released not so long ago.
No. I understand, that is theft. Also, reference to the use of music from "World of Goo." These are the click games. Do not distribute them on a larger scale.
It's not the point of using non-original music/sound. Still, Internet is full of public domain or free to use music tracks and sound effects that resorting to ripped sound/music should be always your second choice. And if so, it's always better to do that from freeware (with permission) or abandonware games, as nobody is making money on them. It doesn't matter if your game is freeware of not, in the case of commercial games you are distributing their copyrighted content without their permission. But the most cardinal sin here is, by my opinion, lack of credits. I can't stand that. If the gameplay wasn't this good, I would easily penalize this by 0 star vote and stand behind my decision.
At least that I saw your engine, but this is my version. Added a shot from 360 degrees, and many amendments. I do not think that you can tell that your engine.
