Ariane Odyssey was made with « multimedia fusion 2 developer » by a french guy : DoubleDragonNinja.

Ariane Odyssey is a plateformer/rpg. You will fight, buy potions and magic powers, find new weapons and secret paths…

You can only save between each chapter, but actually there is only one chapter (but if you die in the final castle you can retry at the begining of the castle if you don't shut off the game...)

well i think they are, because all are in the same style and you know, it's kinda hard to take so many graphics in the same style.

the game is awesome, and everyone should appreciate the effort that this guy put in this game

5 stars because of the full version that isn't here though

I think the girl's head is too small - it needs to be at least twice that size to look reasonable.

Ooh. People can be so mean. Not that it's my sort of game, but it's incredibly polished and well made. I had no problems with the controls.

I think the problem is that people are comparing this game to... say, Final Fantasy (Which it does borrow heavily from) instead of other Click games. There really isn't any comparison, really... but in my opinion that only makes this game better.

I miss not having a save function and the combat is a little limited but the game appears quite balanced and if anybody has the time to really get stuck into this game I'm sure it will turn out to be one of the most memorable games on this site.

very awesome !! the visual aspects of the game is very good, The sound design comes together nearly as well.

The art looks cool, but the active sprites don't look like they blend well with the backgrounds. There's a bit of a sharp outline.

Not only was it fullscreen, not only could you not turn the sounds/music off, not only was it anime, but there was no gameplay whatsoever. It was 90% unskippable, boring cutscenes, some walking around, and then the end.

This game is pretty fun. It has great music, and for some reason the cave area made me nostalgic for old mac games.

The only complaints I have are:
- The character moves too slowly.
- The random battles are a little too common. Of course, if the character moved faster it wouldn't be as much of a problem.

Anyway, I like it a lot! I think this will be the GOTW.

It had really purdy graphics that's for sure! I didn't really enjoy the gameflow though... very sluggish in a way, or it could just be my comp. It was annoying to have to use the mouse when shopping. And for some reason I was sure it was made with flash! Obviously it wasn't though.

This game is really wellmade, though I'm not as "hyped" over the grapchics as some seem to be.

The backgrounds are very nice, and the sprites are too but as someone said; they don't really blend in well.

This game has potential.

The download speed is very low (about 2Kb/sec) and the Demo is massive (about 77MB)
It would took me about 11hours to download it!
What can I do?
It's not normal to download a file at such low speed

Wow, Rocketron. Excellent example of how to waste valid points by mixing them with BS and wrapping them in a pissy attitude!

The graphics are pretty. Especially the backgrounds. As for the sprites, I felt you recycled a bit too much. For example, pretty much every humanoid looked exactly like the main character with different color. I feel you have ambition to make a great game but it doesn't seem to be much thought put into the design and gameplay. The story also seems insanely shallow as far as this demo goes... the cutscenes made me LESS inclined to play the game.

The engine should get a major overhaul so that you can... do more things. The inventory should work differently as well. The one-use-potion in a quickslot is commonly used by lazy programmers. Maybe you should consider working in a team as an artist instead... because that was what was best about this game (and kind of raised expectations to levels above normal).
