Fighter Vector

This is my second game on the Daily click and it is another retro one. Basically it’s a spoof of some of those really bad early 3D.

1. Basics

The point of the game is to get as high a score as possible, without running out of lives or ammo. This is not a never-ending game, the enemies are generated randomly and your ammo will run out eventually.

Controls
Up arrow=up
Down arrow=down
Left arrow= left
Right arrow= right
Spacebar= shoot
Numbers 1,2,3 control music
Number 4 stops music

Directions

1. Move around the circular tunnel by using the arrow keys.
2. Shoot the enemy ships to get 100 points.
3. Enemy ships take two hits to kill.
4. Your ammo slowly refills and so does your extra ship meter.
5. The low ammo signal show up when you have less than 50 rounds left.
6. The collision-warning signal shows when you are in a corner of the screen and about to appear at the opposite corner.

This game was made on The Games Factory software

Looks like the Virtual Boy. Anyone remember that, or notice it existed for a couple of weeks in the 90's?

Not much vectors in this game... All bitmaps.
The Virtual Boy had more shades of red btw.

Virtual Boy was awesome. Red Alarm, Mario Tennis, Wario World, and Mario Clash were fun games. The Boxing one was alright too. From the roms I've played, the Goldeneye game was pretty good to, though unreleased.

Playing virtual boy on an emulator is a different story. It's hard to enjoy the fun parts of those games when you're seizuring. But seizuring in 3 Dimensions!
