You should use the "Static Engine" for this game as a base. I forgot who made it but it's basically a sonic game engine which has loops,acceleration,deccelaration,etc.
I think I had the engine itself on the tutorial pack I uploaded or you could search the download page for it
I checked it out but I'm not sure that'll work. The game's physics I think (Not sure) will be more complicated. I might have to draw a demonstration for the game's physics and features for a possible future coder.
On a side note, my B-day is coming up in 11 days. I still don't know what I want for it, lol.
