Glad to hear, here's what i thought:

Gameplay-wise, it's very playable but there are a few things that "mess" it up a bit;

1. The isometric viewpoint is great, however the player's character doesn't move in exactly the same isometric angles. This makes running and gunning a little difficult, as does just moving around the levels.

2. Level 2 (i think!) is very brown and the tops of the walls/pillars looks the same as the floor, making it slightly difficult to see what's wall and what's floor. Maybe make the tops of walls darker?

3. There are some bits in the levels where the gap between pillars/walls is fairly wide, but not quite wide enough for the player to get his huge shoulder armour through and it means you accidently get hit in a dead-end that you initially thought was wide enough to walk through! Not helpful when being chased by an alien.

4. The player's legs always point the way your moving, meaning he does this weird thing where when he runs backwards he is double-jointed at the waist and his legs look like they're the wrong way round. Minor asthetic thing, doesn't ruin the gameplay.

5. The bullets appear to clip some parts of the wall you think they won't clip, making aiming in built up areas difficult.

6. At the start of level 3, he says he needs to find a better gun. Then as the level starts it's right there in front of him - that should have been the level's object, i feel.

The good things i like so far though include:

1. The graphics look great, even if the levels could do with some extra detail to break up the "samey" looking walls/floor

2. Love the graphics on the elevator-thing you go to at the end of each level.

3. Cut-scenes are pretty good and the action never stagnates in cut-scenes that last too long.

4. Great rendering all round with the characters and aliens.

I hope there's more to come from this game series, i'm gonna keep playing the game as it is anyways! Favourited

Thank you very much for your very interesting and constructive opinion ^^

I add on my notes all of this, the moving of the player, the floor and walls/pillars similarity, the legs of the character, the buillet's colisions and the last point too ^^

Thank you also for the good points ^^

I work on a next project, a mixt between beat em all and hack and slash in isometric viewpoint, and I will remember all of this for this next game ^^ (and sory for my bad English, I'm french ^^).

Your English is better than my French, so no apologies needed! Merry Christmas and i look forward to seeing your next game. How about you start a new Projects page for it now and keep us all updated on the progress? I bet there are plenty of people that would find it interesting
