Yeah, post them here.

IMHO these graphics are pretty cool, but the car on the screenshot looks really flat. You really should fix that.

I hope it's gonna come out quick!

Someone else mentioned that car being flat, and I too agree ... it needs to be in the same style as the rest Roach.
Other than that, the graphics are quite good. Hey Roach, did you make those yourself? .. nice job if so.

I'm gonna go update the 2.5d project opensource file then get started on making the first engine style for this, and somewhere in there keep working on learning slopes as well, maybe I'll do an every other day rotation. Roach has a good part of the story planned out and alot of the graphics done, plus Roach is still working on an engine that has some potential. I'm going to make a fighting engine in a sort of boxing style (as I think that's what he's goin' for), and then we'll see where things go from there.

Roach has most story aspects and design elements taken care of, so once a decent engine is implemented, it should be quite nice and easy enough to finish making. I think that a simple approach is going to be best for this, focusing more on the fighting than jumping around and such. Maybe we'll just leave gravity out of it altogether and do jumping with a nice simple animation approach. That way we can focus more on storyline and smacking the crap outta the enemies.
It's Roach's say ultimately, but we can always go back and make a version with real gravity an' all that stuff later. We can still put a false gravity effect in there and include ladders to climb by using the wall and overlap commands and a detector to crash land on when hitting the ground, but it'll be 2d gravity if you get my meaning. It'll still be fun to play and it'll be much faster to create, and isn't that what matters most?
I'm more concerned with not getting bounced around when you get near a wall, a decent visual layering system (I'll probably use the custom one I built for the 2.5d project), and the fighting system for now though.
