I am Finishing up the final level 3 board where you have to defend your airspace from enemy Zeppelins, these Zeppelins are armed and are carriers for enemy fighters, the level objective will be to destroy all the aircraft and their Zeppelins, Some biplanes during WWI where equipped with Rockets for the purpose of shooting down these rigid Airships, this will replace the Bomb Function for this level...
I am also toying with the idea of completion of this level unlocking another mode where you simply see how long you can defend a airspace in this manner after wave and wave of enemy forces...

Awesome! I think I've played every Sopwith clone ever made - I can't get enough of them 
It's also one of those games that I keep going back to trying to make myself every so often.

Yeah - me too... reminds me of Triplane Turmoil (which is one of the greatest plane games ever made!!)
Hope this project comes through with 'flying' colours.....!

Hmm, i think the outlines of the tanks in the trailer look a bit modern (but then i suppose they are recognisable as tanks  ). What about shaping them more after the early British tanks with the "all around" tracks?

Why doesn't anyone make 2.5d games? ... This would have been perfect as a 2.5 dimensional game ya know.
Maybe you could make a sequel to this in the 2.5d style.
The only airplane/spaceship games that I have ever liked were in full 3d, and the only one that I REALLY enjoyed was RED BARON for the COMPUTER (not the Xbox ruination of the title) ... it's an old game but was thoroughly fun. Every plane truly flew differently and came as close as I've seen to the real thing.
But I have yet to EVER play a 2.5d airplane game! ... Has anyone even made one?! Make One! Now!  
This looks good though, but it just seems wrong to not have that extra 0.5 to 1 dimension in a flying game.
Kudos on adding in flips and turnarounds at least! That's alot more than most would do. I'll probably play this.
It looks quite good graphically as well.
