Demo Response

Hey its been a long time since I've posted

I just like to give an update on what me and SGamer8t88 are currently doing at the moment. Our main focus at the moment is to fix the things that we probably rushed and overlooked for the demo release.

Yesterday we started making the game 2x and now we are currently tweaking the code for the new size. Movement is much faster now, and I've started to recode the scrolling. The problem with the scrolling before was that we were regrettably using a crappy widget which held us back from getting a smooth scrolling transition. At the moment I'm just fixing up a bit of the scrolling code but Link now stops and gets shifted into the next screen as he should.

What next? Well now were still fixing the bugs that the community had found in the demo and we probably won't add any new content at this time until we get the bugs under control.

Also a big thanks for all the comments by the community, they have all been taken into consideration and are much appreciated.

And try out the demo if you haven't already !!!!!!!!

I'm not sure why you have to force a 2x resolution, I liked that you could changed the resolution manually in the menu.

Well for me and SGamer8t88 it makes it so much easier to actually work on the game without having to constantly squint our eyes. Also the movements now fixed because we now have more pixels to work with. The option to change the screen size will still be there however for those people who wish to change it.

You could just use MMF2's zoom in the Frame Editor.

ya that is kind what we are doing. are doubling the size of ALL the sprites. so you will am be happy about the new screen size because there is no going back to the smaller screen EVER again for this project

I like the smaller screen.

Doubling the size of the sprites? That sounds messy. Why do that when you can just double the size of the window and stretch the image to fill it?

if you liked the small screen well may be able to put in a setting to go back down to the small screen
