Hopefully, I won't have to write like that much longer. But I have come with you today with some, well, development news. I have decided to go with a Secret Code system. Hence the not so original kinda cryptic articles. (I have to give away game hints somehow don't I?) Anyways, to start, the Code System will only be available to players who have beat the game at least once on a given difficulty. I will explain how it works. To access the code screen, the player must type in the starter code on their keyboard. Then a input message will pop up stopping all game play. A letter, separated by a hyphen, with two numbers in front will be displayed.

The player can move between the three and insert the desired theory's into the message box. Once the player is satisfied that the code is correct, they can then press the Enter key. For an incorrect code, the player will be given an Access Denied screen and then returned to game play. If the player hasn't beaten the game yet, access will be denied with a second message telling them to finish the game. Now, for correct codes, an Access Granted screen will show up instead. Then another screen will show what they unlocked, for example Infinite Health. And an Enjoy message will then be displayed.

Hm? Oh, you want to know how to get the starter, or more precise, Initiation Code? Oh very well. It's all based on score. The player can get an amount up to 100k without it resetting and giving the player an extra life. The score is still being kept track of secretly in a second counter. A random number out of 100 will be chosen. And once the players score reaches that number, the next enemy that dies will drop the Initiation Disk. When the player collects the disk, the Initiation Code will be displayed in a message screen.

Oh, right. Right now, the game has at least 8 codes. At least 3 of them are based on movies, the other are game related. Indeed, even four letters together name a very important star wars Rebel vessel. Oh, and one famous "double" agent unlocks all the codes. That's all for now.

(So much for a demo, stupid monitor!)

Cya's!
