Movement...
Posted 8th Apr 09, by Xhunterko
Well, I do have a movement system now. Though it is really buggy. I'll probably keep it as a place holder until I find something more stable.

A couple problems:

Player rapidly climbs walls, ignoring ceiling if moving too fast. The extra floor detector appears above the player when this happens.
Player slips through floor if falling from a great height.
Fixed player repeatedly bouncing due to detectors not being in correct position.

As always there's the persistent random crash at Run frame. I don't know if I solved it though. I read something about loops. So I removed a piece that told it to play music infinitely at start of frame. Not sure if it caused the crash or not.

I'd upload it for testing, but I don't think I can slip it through.

I've probably suggested this to a lot of people but the PMO is really easy to use and bug free.

Seconded.

I'm still getting into it but from what I've seen it rocks my socks, lol

Are there any tutorials on how to use it?
Thanks though.

Something just came back to me. In the PMO's properties (in preferences) there's a button called 'Help' under settings.
