Ice Temple
Posted 8th May 10, by ChrisD
Been a while. Just a quick post to say that I'm still working on the game, just not as much as I'd like to at the moment. I've started work on the final temple (in Snowhead mountain, so it's ice based) and naturally it's taking me a while to brew up puzzles/trap idea's for it. Have any? Lemme know.

Ice melting puzzles, jumping on platforms above icicles making them fall in a certain order to play a tune and work as some kind of key.

Pushing enemies or creatures onto jets of air that freezes them and they can be used as weights, platforms when pushed up against walls.

Looks cool

Get things in there ice-related but totally unnatural for the habitat, like choc-ices... that'd be cool!

BTW, love the shading on the ice block platforms/walls, really pretty!

Though don't melt too much ice. You won't be able to go across the spike traps if you do. Course, you could just flood the place to swim by.

Check out danny's I hate ice levels for some ideas here:

Also, some flooding, melting, getting too cold craziness sounds good for this game.

And we need a new video before it's release. It's mandatory.
